We could tell you story after story of how we came to work with each of our clients. Some come through word of mouth, others through Pinterest, many from just surfing the web. How our “Classic Coastal” client came to us is one of our favorite stories. In our very first meeting, our client told us that years before she had been flipping through a copy of San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyle Magazine and came across an article where we had been featured. She earmarked the page and told herself that when she was ready for a designer we’d be the one she would call. As we sat with her, realizing how special we felt that she had waited all this time and still chosen us, we couldn’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful for her and everyone of our amazing clients. Homes are private and special. An escape from the world and the place where we let our hair down. There isn’t a single day that we aren’t reminded that we are beyond blessed to be trusted enough to bring our clients home to life.
Having relocated from the East Coast, our client was looking to embrace all the details of California Coastal design. A pallet of rich navy and creamy oatmeal, the living space had a cozy yet sophisticated feel. White orchids and magnolias add a fresh and classic element, while the dark wood furniture anchors the room.
We are in love with these Bergere chairs! They have followed the clients from previous homes. Recovering them in this bold fabric gave them new life and a modern feel with a nod to their East Coast roots.
